Elsie N. Daniels is a Staff Attorney at Tzedek DC and a 2020 graduate of the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. During law school, Elsie volunteered with Tzedek DC and served as one of Tzedek DC’s first Summer Staff Counsels. Elsie is licensed in Virginia and Maryland and is in the process of waiving into the DC bar.

Since graduating from law school, Elsie has worked in the areas of criminal, guardianship, estate planning, domestic relations, and consumer law. She also worked as a contractor with the Federal Aviation Administration on a class action lawsuit regarding hiring practices.

Elsie has a passion for helping people reach their financial goals. Along with her work at Tzedek DC, Elsie serves in a volunteer capacity as a committee member of the Financial Fortitude Committee of her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The committee focuses on hosting Financial Fridays, where experts present on topics ranging from creating a strong financial foundation to strategies for ensuring generational wealth.
